The 1970 Barracuda was the first year for the third gen of Plymouth’s nameplate and was the model that severed its ties with the economy oriented Valiant body platform. The 1970+ models were designed outright to handle big block V8s and bring the fight to the Mustang and Camaro. It has wonderful styling by John E. Herlitz that emphasizes power and performance. A long hood, two doors, strong haunches, and a short trunk all give the visual appeal that muscle car lovers, err, love.

This car is said to have 6015 miles on the clock and includes many upgrades, the main one being an engine swap from a, yawn, 318 cubic inch (5.2 liters) to a 440 ci six pack (7.2 liters!).
