11 Motoring Collectibles That Will Fit In A New York Apartment

We know a thing or two about how difficult it is to be a car enthusiast in New York City, but the upcoming RM Sotheby’s Driven By Disruption sale contains a few choice prizes for those who might not have the space in Lower Manhattan to store a $6 million Ferrari.

Beginning an auction with memorabilia is standard fare, and it’s thought that watching a number of desirable, often “no reserve” lots sell helps to ease the sale of higher-dollar lots later in the evening. With this as the company’s flagship, end-of-year celebration to be held at the Sotheby’s offices in New York, the memorabilia is fittingly a cut above what you’d see at your local swap meet.

But with many of these lots at no reserve, perhaps it’s your shot to buy a piece of, say, BMW Art Car history for a song…

Lot 101: Rêve de Gosse by Raoul.W, 2015; est. $5,000 – $10,000. Offered without reserve. (pictured above)

Lot 105: ”Nunc est bibendum!!.” Michelin Poster by O’Galop, 1898; est. $25,000 – $35,000. Offered without reserve.

Lot 125: “Le Pneu Michelin à Vaincu le Rail” Poster by Ernest Montaut, 1905; est. $15,000 – $20,000. Offered without reserve.

Lot 110: Pair of BMW M1 Art Car Models; est. $15,000 – $25,000. Offered without reserve.

Lot 121: Ferrari Cavallino Rampante Bronze Sign, c. 1960s; est. $10,000 – $20,000. Offered without reserve.

Lot 106: Enzo Ferrari by Larry Braun, 1989; est. $15,000 – $25,000. Offered without reserve.

Lot 119: Ferrari Cavallino Rampante Chrome Sign, c. 1960s; est. $10,000 – $15,000. Offered without reserve.

Lot 109: 12 Heures Internationales, Reims Poster by Geo Ham, 1954; est. $15,000 – $25,000. Offered without reserve.

Lot 115: Circuit de Milan, Monza Poster by Aldo Mazza, 1922; est. $60,000 – $80,000.

Hello guys, this is awesome.
I’m a Porsche enthusiast, a year ago I was thinking of creating the ultimate collectible piece for Porsche lovers and I come up with this idea: https://kck.st/2EhRWCV I decided to build a CNC Fuchs replica wheel for my self and now I’m sharing the project with the community. The project was posted on Kickstarter a few weeks ago to see the response from the community. You guys are free to check it out, thanks.

I suppose if can actually afford an apartment in NYC these days, the prices here probably seem downright affordable.
