Borrowing A 912 Porsche In France Is Highly Recommended

Vincent Perraud is someone I’ve been personally following on Instagram for ages. We’ve featured his work in our Instagram roundups before, but when he shot me over a dropbox full of stunning images from a recent road trip in a 912, I had to know more.

He rented the car from Roadstr.FR which is apparently a bit like AirBnB for classics. What he loved about the service most is that you are connected to passionate classic owners who are excited to share their ride with you for a short period of time. Vince and his girlfriend took what they called the “little spaceship” on a weekend trip to Bourgogne where they cruised the countryside on crispy winter’s morning.

At any rate the photos turned out just beautiful and I’m excited to share them with you.

Rent a Porsche in France through Roadstr https://www.roadstr.fr/
If you want to drive a classic car through Paris or Cannes or Bordeaux, you will find the perfect car to rent on Roadstr.

Seriously, someone will rent me their 912? What an absolute dream come true to rent a 912 to drive around Europe and through the Alps. If I’d done better in 8th grade French I might’ve been able to read the web-site. Damn….

Seriously? Someone will let you rent their 912? That would absolutely be my dream come true to rent this car for a vacation through the Alps. Oh man! Wish I remembered more of my 8th grade French class and could translate the roadstr website!

Hell Gushue .. borrowing a well sorted 912 much of anywhere [ well maybe not in downtown Manhattan , LA , SF etc ] is highly recommended . Fact is the 912 if my favorite of all the 911 bodied Porsches due to the superior weight distribution and handling . Fact is … my ultimate mid life crisis dream car [ assuming I were to succumb to such a thing ] … would be a resto modded 912 complete with a POLO Porsche flat four in the back . Hmm … just like the one Alois Ruf built for himself . All the power you’d need … usable handling … reasonable mpg … and … emissions
