It never ceases to amaze us, the classic car world. It’s as broad as humanity itself, with pockets of weird machines located in far-flung corners of the world just as prevalent as million-dollar Ferrari concours events. This week’s Instagram roundup is one of the more diverse selections we’ve featured, from one of our favorite artists to photographers that have a knack for finding oddball street finds.

Artist Joel Clark works mostly by hand-cutting vinyl shapes and arranging them on a canvas. It’s the vinyl you’d use to reproduce the livery on an actual racing car, and trust us, the process is fascinating. We also offer his items in our shop, if you’re interested…

Namesake to the best-of-the-best private sales agency Girardo & Co., Max used to be RM Sotheby’s auctioneer, speaks four languages, and jets around the world to experience interesting vehicles. His Instagram feed is a reflection of this—if you’re going to live vicariously, at least follow someone who’s at the leading edge.

We’ve long been fans of @motorsportretro’s all-encompassing approach to covering the classic car world. Like us, they don’t just have a passing interest in retro motorsport—they live it every day. This means, of course, their Instagram feed is quite excellent.

Historic Racing Works in Berlin, Germany specializes in Lancias, Fiats, and other Italian cars. After weeks of enjoying the sight of its racing activities pop up in our feeds, we figured it was time to share.

@platpaysspotting is charming because it’s a little of everything; there are exotics, classics, and a whole lot of, “I haven’t seen one of those in ages…”
