Spa-Francorchamps is my kind of race track. I’ve been twice on my own dime to watch Formula 1 within its hallowed outline, but nothing looks quite as spectacular as seeing a grid full of classic cars hauling through Eau Rouge.

Photographer Jayson Fong was there for the Spa Six Hours, a large race meeting that attracts some 600+ vehicles to Belgium’s Ardennes forest. With the late summer night arriving and the sounds of powerful vintage race cars in the air, Fong was able to capture the spirit of competing at such a special place.
