Art Center Car Classic This Sunday

This coming Sunday (October 26) is Art Center College of Design’s Car Classic, an annual celebration of cars that serves to remind us that behind every gorgeous automotive form is a hard-working, clever designer (probably educated at this very school). For over ten years the Car Classic has explored car culture and vehicle architecture through a designer’s lens. And this public showcase is different from the multitude of car shows and concours because of Art Center’s strong industry ties, knowledge, and well-known alumni.

This year’s theme, “Street to Screen” focuses on the impact that transportation and entertainment design have had on Hollywood and the entertainment business as a whole. Car designers, collectors, and the entertainment industry will come together at the College’s annual event to see the cars, listen to, and meet the people responsible for their designs.

Additionally, Petrolicious will be there, showcasing our films and meeting fans. We’ll have a small lounge set up with refreshments, seating, and our beautiful films being screened so you can relax a bit, enjoy the stories, cars, and of great weather (the forecast is for a clear 74oF!).
