Partnered: Vintage and Specialty Tires Roll to You

Vintage and Specialty Tires Roll to You

Necessity is the mother of invention, which is why some of the best products and services were invented by people who experienced a problem firsthand and saw an opportunity to fix it.

Such is the case with ASAP Tire. Founded by our good friend and fellow vintage car enthusiast James Chen, ASAP Tire is a mobile tire service that brings specialty tires to you and expertly installs them at your convenience. Vintage tires, high-performance, and hard-to-find sizes and brands are their specialty.

When a three-inch nail recently punctured my ‘74 GTV’s driver’s side front tire, ASAP Tire was kind enough to come by and repair it. Now I just need to decide which tires to buy next.

Though operating in Southern California for now, ASAP Tire is rapidly expanding. Hopefully they’ll be in your area soon.

This is a beautiful GTV you have here. I have always had a soft spot for Alfa Romeo and among my favorites there’s the GTA 1300 Junior. I find it one of the most beautiful cars ever built, with one of the best engine sounds as well. There is nothing close to it, nothing similar and there is no other car that can give me shivers down my spine like this does. There is something magical about it and from every angle it looks fantastic. What a car..

Thanks, Leucea! You’re absolutely right about the sound. I guess we’ll have to do a video on it now 🙂

Awesome idea, just too bad they only service the LA area. Wonder if they’ll expand, and offer this service in the SF Bay Area.

Hooray.
In the article they mention you carry “vintage tires, high-performance, and hard-to-find sizes”, and I was wondering if you’ll be able to order Michelin’s TB5 or TB15 tires? it’s getting hard to find decent large width 16″ tires, and these two models offer that without going the full Hoosier route.

Love those Alfa Bertones, yours look just about right! I think it is time for a Bertone movie…

Definitely! I have a soft spot for Bertone design myself.
