Gear: Gauging Time with Autodromo

Gauging Time with Autodromo

Industrial designer by trade and gearhead by nature, Bradley Price is the man behind Officine Autodromo, makers of a gorgeous line of wristwatches that are heavily influenced by the gauges of golden-era sports and racing cars.

All feature lovely proportions, fine detailing, and high-quality construction. Standard models include the Vallelunga, Brescia, and Veloce, with a top-range, multi-function chronograph version of the Vallelunga also available.

Until recently, Autodromo watches exclusively used quartz movements, albeit high-quality Swiss-made ones. Now, however, they’re offering the Monoposto, their first automatic movement timepiece. Limited to just 500 individual pieces, it’s available with either a white or black face and with a brown or black leather strap.

Regardless of which model suits your personal style best, they’re all versatile enough to dress up or down, and are a tasteful and elegant way to literally wear your enthusiasm on your sleeve, but in a subtle way that only those in the know will recognize. Just try to remember to take it off before wrenching.

Limited-edition Monoposto – Black Dial (Left) /  $875.00

Limited-edition Monoposto – Silver Dial (Middle) /  $875.00

Vallelunga Chronograph – Black Dial (Right) /  $550.00

The only Pantera I had contact with was one I had come into my workshop and maybe http://mahjongfreegames.online/dimensions it was a bad example of the breed but it felt like a kit car

I’ve just received my Vallelunga white dial a week ago in France. A true beautiful watch, a gorgeous design, and a great finition. Bradley Price has a great taste about cars, and watches.

Wow, I don’t know how I hadn’t seen these before. Excellent idea. I’d love to pick up a vallelunga…unfortunate that anything below 45mm looks like a toy on my massive wrists. I will follow Autodromo much closer now that I’m aware of their existence. Keep doing what you do gents, excellent blog.

Heyy all my favorite blogs coming together! Needless to mention that Bradley has fine taste in cars as well, with a growing scuderia.
