Ayrton Senna Posters Celebrate the Master’s Triumphs
This year marked the twentieth anniversary of Mr. Ayrton Senna’s tragic death while leading the San Marino Grand Prix at the age of thirty-four. His Formula One career spanned eleven seasons during which he earned nicknames such as “Rain Man” for his otherworldly control in the wet, set a record for most pole-positions (sixty-five, held until 2006), and was a triple World Champion. In honor of Ayrton’s amazing career and talent, The Collector Studio has just released a set of three posters.
The first poster recalls his first win, which came in the 1985 Portuguese GP at Estoril in a John Player Special Lotus 97T. The second, pays homage to Ayrton’s first win at Monaco in 1987 driving the Camel Lotus 99T. And the final poster celebrates his triple World Champion status, all while at McLaren. They all measure 28″ x 34″ and are printed on heavy stock using high quality giclee printing.
