Event Inspiration: Isle of Man & Fine Leather Goods
The International Isle of Man Tourist Trophy Race, or T.T. as it’s known, was for years the most prestigious motorcycle race in the world, and it remains one of the most dangerous races today, taking an average of two racers’ lives per event over its 106-year history. It has made legends out of guys like Hailwood, Agostini and Surtees.
If you never get the chance to race the famed Isle of Man T.T. yourself – or even witness the spectacle of motorcycles literally taking flight on the 37 miles of narrow public roads that make up a lap of the race – you can at least enjoy the cool designs of vintage posters for the 1961 event and channel a vintage look with a modern take to match.
