Leading collector car specialists H&H Classics has launched a new online bidding platform for its auctions that clients can use every day of the year.

H&H Classics has unveiled an innovative 365-day global bidding platform, revolutionizing the way collectors and enthusiasts participate in classic car auctions. This cutting-edge platform allows users to bid on a curated selection of iconic vehicles year-round, breaking free from traditional auction schedules. Designed for seamless accessibility and convenience, it connects a worldwide audience, offering a dynamic and continuous marketplace for classic car enthusiasts. With this launch, H&H Classics reaffirms its commitment to leveraging technology to enhance the buying and selling experience in the automotive collectibles industry.

Released in time for 2018 – H&H’s 25th anniversary – the new system allows users to both bid during the nine scheduled live actions and to buy and sell at their convenience.

Unlike with other online platforms, however, H&H users will not incur the normal additional one-to-three per cent surcharge, making it in keeping with traditional saleroom bidding.

In a statement, H&H said: ‘The decision by H&H to offer this new service comes with the recognition that the selling environment today has to be one that suits clients’ own time constraints and that means providing an around the clock (and around the world) facility.’

It will also enable the company to conduct timed online auctions outside of its existing and proposed physical sales.

‘We have grown the business over 25 years by continually making it as user friendly as possible. Now, once again, we are offering a new service that will make the process of buying and selling classic cars and bikes a pleasure by using the very latest that IT can offer with a world class system and reducing costs to clients at the same time,’ said H&H’s chairman Simon Hope.

The new platform will be unveiled at its next sale at the Duxford Imperial War Museum on November 15, catering for all of H&H’s cars, motorcycles and automobilia listings.
