It’s well known that Jay Kay, the lead singer of Jamiroquai, is a car nut. His collection of more than 100 vehicles is eclectic to say the least, ranging from a Ferrari 365 GT4 Berlinetta Boxer and Lamborghini Miura to a rare short-wheelbase Audi Quattro Sport and Porsche 918 Spyder. And now, he’s giving you a chance to own his very first car, at a very reasonable price.

Up for auction is his 1972 BMW 1602, in decent condition but far from the showroom shines of most of his collection. This Bimmer was not only his first car, it’s also the car he learned how to drive in when he bought it with 22,000 miles on the clock. He put another 30,000 miles on it before selling it to the band’s didgeridoo player – we can’t make this up, folks – but eventually bought it back 10 years ago.

The 1602 is a two-door, right-hand-drive model, sporting a 1.6-liter four cylinder that originally produced 84hp. There are now 56,995 miles (just over 91,700km) on the odometer.

Amazingly, Kay put the 1602 up for a starting sum of just £5,000, or around $6,000. A veritable steal for such a nice little BMW, though it’s likely to go for much higher. But wait, as they say, there’s more! Kay will also include a piece of Jamiroquai memorabilia to the winning bidder, as well as the chance to meet him personally to pick up the car. In the U.K., of course.

This is a very good article, thank you for supporting it. Like I am now associated with online selling in karnal, I get a lot of best selling from that and I benefit a lot, that is, if anyone is interested, then definitely go here and try.
