Photography by Alessandro Capuzzi
On May 5, 2016, the Mille Miglia will kick off in Brescia, and after our extensive coverage this year, there’s little doubt Petrolicious will be there next year.
In the meantime, the office has been blown away by Brescia, Italy-based photographer Alessandro Capuzzi who, captured the event like only the home team can: by highlighting a lot of the little things that make the event so special.
There’s a good chance Alessandro will be there next year—will you?

My trip to Italy coincided with the 2015 Mille Miglia. We stood in amazement when the cars passed from Castello St. Angelo to the Vatican. It was a mesmorizing experience, and if you are a gearhead – definitely not to be missed. I was in awe of these beautiful cars, their pilots and navigators, and the friendly atmosphere that surrounded the entire event. I would love to go again.
Well, you have the number of days away right (235), but it doesn’t start on May 5. It’s from May 19-22, 2016. I hope you’ll be able to change your flight….
