Slovenian Artist’s Love for F1 began with a Video Game
Miha Furlan is a 28-year-old professional automotive artist from a small town called Ajdovščina in Slovenia. He’s been drawing cars for as long as he can remember; while other children drew cars as two circles with a box on top, Miha was drawing aerodynamic wedge-shaped cars. In high school, he played the race car simulation game Grand Prix Legends, and thus began his love for vintage F1 cars. Later, his interests expanded to include ’60s and ’70s sports cars.
We love that he has a very distinct style with his interesting perspectives, bright blocks of color, and use of strong, vibrant lines to show movement and energy. Miha’s medium of choice is colored pencil.
