We’ve seen Aston Martin’s ultra-exclusive DBZ Centenary Collection before, but if you need a reminder it’s comprised of two cars, the DB4 GT Zagato Continuation and all-new DBS GT Zagato, which bookend the marque’s association with the world-renowned Italian coachbuilder Zagato.

The DB4 GT Zagato Continuation is a faithful recreation of the 1960s icon and just 19 are being built, sold only as a pair with the DBS GT Zagato. Now the first cars are now being delivered to their owners around the globe.

Paul Spires, President of Aston Martin Works said, “Christmas may be just around the corner now, but for 19 astute car collectors it is most definitely coming early! The DB4 GT Zagato Continuation program has been our most challenging and rewarding to date, and it is a genuine honor to see the fruits of our not inconsiderable labors making their way to owners around the globe.”

Each of these very special track-only cars represents around 4500 hours of painstaking and meticulous artisan car-building at the brand’s Heritage Division headquarters in Newport Pagnell, Buckinghamshire.

Andy Palmer, Aston Martin Lagonda President & Group CEO, said, “It has been our privilege and our pleasure to work with Zagato in the creation of these remarkable sports cars. Now arriving in the hands of a tiny group of owners across the world I’m sure they, like me, will be honored to play their part in the history of this great brand.”

Deliveries of the Continuation DB4 will continue throughout 2019, with the DBS GT Zagato scheduled to arrive with customers late in 2020. For the 19 customers who laid out the £6m ($7.7m) plus taxes for their DBZ Centenary Collection, it looks as if next year’s Christmas present won’t disappoint either.
