The Original Rush of a Porsche
Owner and Photographer: Gary Reed
Year, Make, and Model: 1991 Porsche 911 Convertible (964)
Location: Seattle, Washington, USA

Gary Reed fell in love with cars as a child playing with his slot-car race set and since then his passion has only grown. He started driving sports cars as a seventeen-year-old and hasn’t wavered since. He was lucky enough to find this all-wheel drive ’91 Porsche 964 Convertible in the local Porsche Club classified ads, about a year ago. The car was down in Oregon but Gary made the trip down and bought it immediately due to its originality.
The 911 was in amazing shape, featuring only 37,000 original miles, and included everything that it did when it was first sold new, including the window sticker and even a packet of disposable gloves intended for roadside emergencies. Additionally, it’s completely stock and has never been altered or modified.
This particular example is Grand Prix White and comes with a light grey leather interior, optional Cobalt Blue piping, stitching, dash, steering wheel, and rugs. It also includes many options, even a factory CD player.
Over the last dozen years, Gary has owned multiple Ferrari (including the 550 Maranello pictured below), Porsche, Fiat, and Alfa Romeo sports cars but has no plans to get rid of this one as he loves driving it on sunny back roads with the top down. He simply enjoys the rush of driving a Porsche convertible.
