Above all else, what makes us go, “Whoa” is when we catch a glimpse of a car we weren’t expecting to see. Hotels are great places for these chance encounters, especially if those hotels are in Audi’s hometown of Ingolstadt and enthusiasts are soaking up the beautiful weather at this time of year.
The continent is alive to the sound of classics, sure—but we’d be lying if we said that Ferrari F40s didn’t always stop us in our tracks. Lighting down in The Classic Oldtimer Hotel’s garage isn’t great, though it’s not as if an F40 needs perfect lighting to be a centrefold.
Crikey, I must be getting old, the F40 a classic…
Love it, but this to me only came out yesterday, saw it at the Sydney Motorshow when it was released..
I remember thinking.. boy theres nothing inside, no radio, only pull straps to close the door.. And i remember it like yesterday…
Thanks for taking me down memory lane Ted. 🙂
