America’s sports car, the Chevrolet Corvette, has been in production for sixty-one years. This particular model has been around for forty-four years. The 1970 Monza Red roadster seen here was owned by the same man for thirty-five of them. Somewhere in this car’s 49,186 miles of existence its 350 cubic-inch V8 was replaced with a “454/390HP” power plant. The current title holder, who’s possessed this open-air cruiser for the last two years, had it stripped and resprayed in its factory color. According to his or her shout-y posting, “THE BUMPERS AND MOST OF THE BRIGHT WORK ARE ORIGINAL. THE INTERIOR IS ALL ORIGINAL AND STILL LOOKS GREAT. THE CAR ALSO HAS POWER STEERING AND POWER DISC BRAKES.” This Corvette also comes with its original Protect-O-Plate and owners manual, as well as a hardtop. It even has receipts going back to the 1980s. It may not have the original power plant, but it’s a great big-block cruiser in amazing shape for not too much dough.
