For those of you who are obsessed with cars and living in smaller towns and more remote areas—where there aren’t very many exciting ones—this gallery from the Pebble Beach Tour d’Elegance may be overwhelming. Beautiful scenery, roads, people, and cars, with participants exercising their four-wheeled obsessions as onlookers are thrown into fits of whiplash. Here’s what this year’s event looked like.
Averaging roughly 30 mph, andrerouted this year due to nearby forest fires , Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance entrants are encouraged to participate in the Tour, with Concours judges awarding extra merit to the cars that showand drive well. Photographer Tim Scott was on hand to capture just some of the action, as formerPetrolicious stars and some of the most desirable vehicles on the planet drove the 37-mile route.
