Can racing be artful?

With our obvious leanings toward classic cars, we don’t cover modern racing all that much. It’s a shame, because some of the most talented photographers spend days at circuits each week, firing off thousands of shots to capture the essence—and all the action—during an event. Jamey Price is one of those photographers who does all that, then pushes himself beyond what you’d normally expect to see from Sebring International Raceway.

We thought it’d be fun to send him to the 12 Hours of Sebring with an assignment for Petrolicious that would have him focusing more on showing a more artful side to this international motor race—telling a story by focusing on the numbers.
