The new Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat may have 707 supercharged horsepower, but it can’t match the colossal 7.2-liter displacement of this 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T’s engine.

Put differently, the 7.2L engine in this Sublime green machine is the famed 440 cubic-inch V8. It also has the “Six Pack” of three two-barrel carburetors. According to the seller, this 59,000-mile muscle car is “a true JS23VOB that has a number matching motor,” which means that this is a real, two-door hardtop 1970 Challenger built with the 440 in Dodge’s main plant in Hamtramck, Michigan.

Inside, there’s black vinyl and a four-speed manual transmission, making this car, according to its current owner, “1 of 847 440 six pack’s [sic] built with a four speed [sic].”

Not much of an investment with that bad re-stamped block number. Font is wrong, depth is wrong…

You’d have to be a real fan or a nostalgic (and optimistic) investor to drop ninety grand on a Challenger.
