Holiday Errands

Even in seemingly mundane tasks such as running an errand to the grocery store, every car enthusiast has a choice to make: take the quick and efficient route from A to B or obey the siren song of the open road. With the wheel of a Mercedes Benz 300SL Gullwing firmly gripped, resisting that urge becomes nearly impossible.

Not the same car but really the same feeling when I ‘m driving my old porsche.
I stop only when I’m out of gasoline!
Great movie!

While I enjoy the interviews, with a car like this nothing really needs to be said. Seeing people still driving these on public roads make my soul smile. Don’t get me wrong, collectors have every right to place their cars on a pedestal, should they choose. But I can’t help but feel a bit sad when seeing such a piece of excellence just standing and collecting dust.

What is the song name/band of the whistling number as he drives? Infectious!

This was fun. I was kind of hoping he’d actually get to the supermarket, if only to see the 300SL blow people’s minds parked among the Camrys and Mini-Vans in the parking lot.

Who is this man? Great video, but I’ve gotten used to and like the interviews that you’ve added to the video’s before. I h0oped to see the car being trashed through the canyons, but a man must learn to restrain himself, if driving such an expensive automobile. What a car.

We will continue to do interviews with owners. From time to time we like to mix it up here at Petrolicious and try new things.

The video seems to be set as a private video in Vimeo. I can’t watch it therefore.
