In 1959 Ferrari unveiled the 250 SWB to replace their 250 GT. Not only was the car almost nine inches shorter with better handling, it also donned a shorter rear end that gave it a beautiful slopping roof line into the trunk area.
With the reduction of weight, better suspension, horsepower and handling, the SWB performed really well on the track and brought Ferrari a few championships.
Four color screen and block print. Three layers of color are individually laid, via the screen printing process, before the final block print brings the image to life. The whole process is hand done. Starting with the carving of the block, to cutting templates for each color layer and finishing with hand pressing the block with a baren, in the traditional way.
As with any handmade item, each print is different and the colors never line up exactly the same. This is what gives the work its charm. Enjoy the imperfections.
