These Screenprints Celebrate Off Roading’s Greatest Legends

If you need to fill some wall space with off-roading imagery—and don’t have a thick family album of your own adventures to draw from—one should always err on the side of simplicity. Forget anything with camo patterns, off-roaders mid-air, or hopelessly posed period PR photos. Thankfully, the Indonesian printing shop called Twin Spark has a new set of prints that are definitely “tasteful”.

The shop has concentrated its efforts on four off-roaders: the Volkswagen Thing, Toyota FJ40, a Land Rover Series II truck and Series II station wagon. Each is a simple outline screen printed on Canson Montval 300gsm paper and hand-numbered; at 16.5 x 11.8 inches (420 x 300 mm), they’re also quite large. Price? Each is available from the Twin Spark store for $15 US. Hopefully, the company will continue to release interesting art—these four prints are its first series.
