This Is An Alfa Romeo Fit For A Futuristic Fine Artist

Milanese artist Federico Bozzano is obsessed with speed and motion, and so it’s probably fitting that when he’s not creating otherworldly paintings, he’s behind the wheel of an Alfa Romeo.
On first glance, it may appear as though you’ve seen paintings like this before—but look again. His hyperrealistic scenes are both blurred and crisp, and oddly detailed despite being heavily stylized. There’s a cinematic quality to his automotive art, which is probably how he also works with directors, imagining scenes for movies like Avatar and District 9.
In photos of his Alfetta, it’s clear his concern for how light and shadow can influence a scene have made this near-classic appear even more exotic and futuristic than it normally does. With a bit of darkness, this Alfa is almost beginning to look like the design sketch it evolved from.
