You Want The Option That Makes Your Valkyrie 8 Percent Faster? No Problem

Aston Martin has just released the personalisation options for its extreme Valkyrie hypercar, and they’re off the scale crazy. They include a personalisation service ‘Q by Aston Martin’ but let’s start with the AMR Track Performance Pack, because Aston Martin says that will deliver 8% quicker lap times on top of the “standard” Valkyrie. Think about that for a moment… The pack contains parts that are for the track only, so if they’re fitted to your Valkyrie it won’t be road legal any more (not sure how much you’d worry about that). It contains–wait for it–a new aerodynamic front clam for greater downforce, a second set of all other exterior body panels, lightweight titanium brakes, track-focused suspension and a matte black magnesium performance wheel and carbon-fibre aero-disk set. Aston Martin add that “customers can also include a suite of personalised pit garage and race suit accessory options to their package, providing owners with the ultimate track day and hypercar ownership experience”. OK…

If you to choose to keep your Aston Martin Valkyrie on the road, there are four themes available for those who want to stick with the designer’s vision, featuring special Valkyrie colours that include Slipstream Green, Liquid Petroleum, Ethanol Silver and Maximum Orange. Or you can completely nuts, and go for a bespoke design through the Q by “Aston Martin – Commission” service. Options then include changing the finish of the roof and rear engine cover, full titanium wings badges, or the Gold Pack, which features a 24-carat gold leaf livery that’s laid under the paint lacquer. Of course there’s also a Mokume Carbon Fibre option pack too. Us? We’re still thinking about the 8% faster lap times…
