Aston specialists to move to new two-acre HQ

Nicholas Mee & Company, an official Aston Martin Heritage Specialist, is to move to new multi-million pound purpose-built facilities in early 2018.

The company, which celebrates its 25th birthday in 2018, says its new two-acre site in rural Hertforshire will be ‘a centre of excellence for the heritage marque and provide a destination experience for both existing Aston Martin owners and enthusiasts alike’.

Company founder and managing director Nicholas Mee said, ‘As the classic car world continues to evolve. This expansion is in direct response to the needs of both our clients and ourselves. The relocation to our new site will strengthen the companies ‘long term’ position and plans, within an industry. It has recently been valued to be worth £5.5 billion pounds annually to the UK economy.

‘Aiming to double the current level of employees, we are excited to be developing a new world-class and state-of-the-art heritage facility, in a desirable location. It’s exciting to be expanding our skilled workforce and further enhancing our available services. To existing customers and the many Aston Martin owners and collectors worldwide seeking expert services and advice.’

The new destination will incorporate state-of-the-art facilities with a show hall. And gallery that can be configured for private and larger events, for customers, media and other stakeholders in the marque. The expansive workshop areas will allow Nicholas Mee & Co to incorporate more in-house specialists, such as trimmers, fabricators and engineers. While the additional buildings will provide scope for the business to increase its stock holding of Heritage parts.
