Each year in Padova, Italy, a group of enthusiasts from around the world bring their vehicles and collectibles to Auto Moto d’Epoca, which is perhaps best described as one of the most casual ways one can experience the country’s love affair with classic and vintage machines. Here’s what the event looked like this year.
The Padua Exhibition Centre is filled with cars, motorcycles, and vendors who contribute to the show’s theme: the past, present, and future of vehicles. Our photographer Federico Bajetti was tasked with combing the venue and capturing the most remarkable things in attendance—all 1,600 vendors and approximately 4,500 cars of it.
From motorcycles to local delicacies to brand-new sports cars, it’s difficult to pick favorites from what was there. New-old-stock carburetors sat near vintage helmets; classic, well-preserved Fiat commercial vans lined up rows away from classic Mercedes-Benz SLs and Porsche 964s.
I think it’s fair to say that by browsing the photos from Auto Moto d’Epoca, a frame or two is sure to jump out, even if it’s just a slightly oxidized ‘Alfetta’ badge. What vehicle or display stands out the most to you from this huge event?
