Just because a car hasn’t been restored doesn’t mean it hasn’t been cared for. This 1970 Quattroporte’s body and interior have survived since the Nixon administration. However, its engine has been given new parts–necessities after nearly four and a half decades.
For instance, the owner states, “In the last 15 years[,] the brakes have been overhauled with new master cylinder, servos[,] and calipers reconditioned.” The water pump and carburetors have been reconstructed. This numbers-matching Italian icon’s cam chains and shims were adjusted within the last 1,500 (out of 65,000 total) miles.
The Euro four-door also comes with fresh suspension bushings, air filter, fuel pumps, and has just received a fresh oil change. All of its electrics and instruments function. All of its cylinders do the same – at 170+ psi.
