While the Ford Taurus was setting the U.S. ablaze with its aerodynamic design and clever Audi-like touches, Europe had already received a modern Blue Oval vehicle: the Sierra. The Cosworth RS version was created as Ford’s bid to win Group A racing in Europe.
This Sierra RS Cosworth 2.0 is one of 5,042 built in 1986, with about 1,600 originally registered in the UK. It has been subjected to a “complete nut and bolt” restoration at a cost about twice its asking price. The seller has owned it for the past 15 years and keeps it “jacked” in a climate-controlled facility. The 2.0L DOHC turbo-four produced 204 horsepower stock but the Castle Performance-built motor has been enhanced with laminated Motorsport head gaskets, Grey injectors, and Ahmed Bayjoo chip (among other mods) to help push horsepower to over 400. With a “full suite of handbooks and Ford service manuals, receipts and photographs,” this may possibly be the best Sierra RS in the world . . . and something a Taurus SHO could only dream of being. It’s a lot of money, especially for American sensibilities, but racing history has never been a losing proposition.

I have been reading up on this Euro Fords and i must say Im pretty impressed with this cars. Im not really sure of the value of this car but it does look in nice shape and i like the color as well. Plus with the 400 Hp under the hood it should get this car moving along quite quickly as well.
