Don Draper is a man who goes after what he wants. Whether or not he gets it is a completely different story. But beginning each day clean shaven and drinking a black coffee, usually because he’s hung over, he prepares himself for success that he can usually undo with one thoughtless action. A General Motors man through and through (except for a day-long flirtation with a Jaguar), Don drove a Buick for a year or so on his way to conquering the Madison Ave. advertising industry, before he imploded.
