The Cortona Hideout

On Christmas Day, we shared with you Venisio Pagani’s touching story of finding his father’s Peugeot 70 years after having had to part with it due to the war.  In this garage profile, you can get a better glimpse of Pagani’s garage that is so perfectly cluttered it almost looks like a movie set.  Amongst the orderly chaos we found two rare machines from the WWII: a Zündapp motorcycle with sidecar (which may look similar to the same period BMW bike we found in Milan, but which is quite a different beast to ride) and an Alfa Romeo Matta 4X4.

If you happen to pass by his garage in Cortona, Italy, just knock.  Pagani is a very inviting gentleman who loves to share his toys with fellow enthusiasts.

There is a wonderful charm in the clutter. It represents a life lived.
