One of the films most near and dear to our hearts here at Petrolicious was and is the film featuring the family behind Dominick’s European Car Repair, the Spadaros. A few years ago their patriarch passed on after battling with cancer, at which point he left not only a hole in his family, but in the entire Northeastern US car community.
You’d be really hard pressed to own a European classic in New England and not have at least heard of Dominick’s, which is why it’s not terribly surprising that each year when his children, Santo, Frank, and especially Vera, organize a Sunday Memorial drive for their friends and family some of the most important cars and drivers in the community turn up with some seriously lovely kit.
We were invited this year by our good friends and Shop Partners Autodromo, which was typically gracious of them. The day was sublime, and I had my camera along to capture some of the cars on display. I hope you enjoy as much as I did.
