The Petersen Automotive Museum Is Kicking Off Its Bruce Meyer Exhibit Tonight In LA, With Perks For Petrolicious Members

It feels right to say that both the Petersen Automotive Museum and Bruce Meyer are institutions of the Southern California car scene, and both have what you’d call world-renowned collections. One is a big beautiful building on Wilshire Boulevard, the other is a former candlemaker who also happens to drive Le Mans-winning Porsche 935s on the street every once in a while. Though they already have a deep relationship, tonight Meyer and the museum are celebrating a new collaboration with the opening of the Bruce Meyer Collection exhibit. Petrolicious members and Petersen members will receive discounted ticket to attend.

In addition to having exclusive early access to the collection (and between the aforementioned 935, a Prudhomme dragster, Shelby Cobra #1, an Iso Grifo A3/C, and a Ferrari Testa Rossa, among others, it is a refreshingly diverse grouping of iconic machines that’s worth seeing), the event also makes room for fireside chats, rooftop cocktails, projections (including our films on Bruce Meyer’s collection), and plenty of time to socialize. Petersen members and Petrolicious members both receive discounts for these opening night event tickets.
