How cool is this? We’re always flattered when we’ve been able to inspire our audience. Sometimes, this means you’re inspired to tackle a lengthy road trip, or it could just mean you’re finally searching for an interesting car of your own. In this case, however, a submission stopped us in our tracks.

Canadian artist and engineering student Kyle Faller was inspired by a scene from our award-winning film, Building A Dream, where Peter Giacobbi, builder and owner of an incredible 1959 Ferrari 250 TR recreation has his V12 on his home test bench and—quite literally—fires the monstrous engine into life. Faller replicated the scene, and the result is an impressively composed artwork we’d be happy to hang on our wall.

When he’s not painting, he’s working on advanced, next-generation vehicle technologies as part of the Waterloo Hybrid program.

We’re always excited when readers send in their stories, and humbled that we’ve been able inspire so many great motoring experiences. What do you think of Faller’s engine-inspired art?
