This coming weekend is the biennial 2014 Monaco Grand Prix Historique. But in addition to the cars there are many other reasons to visit Monaco and beautiful Côte d’Azur, such as the fact that “The most beautiful women in the world are in Monte Carlo,” and that the “Sunshine all year on the the Côte d’Azur.” If you’re not persuaded to pack your bags and jet away, there are thirteen other reasons below. Maybe one will convince you? If all else fails there are still the cars.

I was there!! It is ALL that. I’ll be back in 2016
Great that you used the “5eme Grand Prix Monaco” image as the lead to this piece – caught my eye immediately because I have that very poster in a frame in my bathroom!
A phenomenal weekend, get yourself there in 2016 if you didn’t go to this one. The most beautiful cars from the 30’s to late 70’s, and the owners take no prisoner’s. This isn’t a rally where the track is cruised for 30 minutes; they are driven hard and to the limits, full on competitive racing in these historic relics. A delight to the ears and to the eyes.
Nice one! 😉
Amusingly enough, I live in Juan-les-Pins, as featured on the picture 4th row on the left. 😀
I only need one reason great cars but i get what you guys are doing. Any one of these would make a damn fine poster for your house or garage. Girls and cars what could be a better pairing 😀
You can buy reprints of some of these. I have four of them in my office; I bought them at Hobby Lobby.
