Journal: Bring A Trailer

Bring A Trailer

By Petrolicious
November 21, 2012

Since 2007,  Bring A Trailer has been alerting us to some of the best vintage cars the web has to offer. The concept of the site began as friendly email banter between good friends Randy Nonnenberg and Gentry Underwood, and it’s grown to become a huge asset to those on the prowl for a vintage car to add to their collection. See a glimpse into Randy and Gentry’s personal car collections, hear more about their journey to getting where they are today, and find out a bit about their plans for the future of Bring A Trailer.

Enjoyed the video. Did I notice a BMW 318ti in alpine white as the camera car in the opening scene about 19 seconds in?

California light is ideal for showing off the old 230S. Love those cars

Thanks for creating and publishing this video!
It’s a great feeling to “meet” the Randy and Gentry; and even better to learn about genuine concept behind BaT which has proven to work for all of us.
Greetings from Poland

Great passion you both have there… I read you on my iphone whenever I am waiting for something. It allways brings me a smile on my face…
My oldie is a W123 Merk 230E dark blue, beige cloth interior…

Nice video. I look forward to my BAT fix every morning and appreciate the insights you and the community bring to this passion that we seem to share in looking for old cars!
Thanks!

Dig it. It’s the first email I read every morning. Though, ever thought of a Sub-$5k category for us broke folks?

Very interesting and unique, I love what you guys do.
I have a very unique Italian car which you might be interested in, it is a 1968 Moretti GS16
There were only 40 of them built, this is the only one in the USA and there are maybe 10 left still on the road.
I need to sell it, so let me know if you are at all interested.
Your website is amazing and I love checking the cars out every day.
Enjoy and prosper.

Great article! I love that the founder is as excited to see the cars he has to choose from each day as we are to see his site each morning! I had a quirky, very unique, very original car for sale on eBay recently. One morning I got an email from a friend telling me it was featured on BAT! Sure enough, the next message was my 5 AM BAT mail with my car listed! It was very exciting – I felt like I’d hit the big time! These guys have really created something special for the car world!

Finally, faces of actual human beings. Living, breathing, fuel injected car nuts, who look pretty normal, except for driving a flippin’ old tank Mercedes for cripes sake.
I can’t tell you how much I enjoy the site. It has sure helped me deal with some pretty serious changes in my life brought on by really bad surgery. I get a little grumpy at times. Then an interesting car comes up on Bat, and my day improves immeasurably.

Thanks guys. I hope to meet you in person one of these days. I drive past your stompin’ grounds twice a year in my migration from Canada to Mexico. Maybe i could stop to say hello in April.

Great video and nice to learn how this site was founded. I too wake up each day and can hardly wait to see what new cars were added- particularly the early 70’s Japanese cars. There is not another site I visit more often than BaT- now I just need the official T-shirt. Keep up the great work and thanks for your efforts!!
