The third edition of The Bridge, an invite-only car and art show located on the grounds of one of America’s oldest racing circuits, is just over a week away. Featuring selected installations from prominent galleries along with 150 significant automobiles that ranged last year from Fiat Multiplas to Countach Periscopicas, it’s set to be something special for the lucky attendees on the track-turned-golf-course in Bridgehampton, NY.
We’ll be there to cover the arrangement of artwork—automotive and otherwise—but even if you aren’t on the guest list, there’s still a way to participate in what’s becoming a weekend worth marking down in your petrol-scented datebooks. Like last year, the organizers of the exclusive Bridge event are also hosting a Cars & Coffee on the following day at the Bridgehampton Museum. Many of the cars arranged on the links from The Bridge will also be shown at the next day’s open-to-all C&C on September 16th, so besides a chance to show off your own stuff you’ll have plenty to look at as a spectator too. Modern and vintage metal will mix in front of the museum, food and drink will be available, families are welcome, and if the early autumn weather cooperates it will have all the makings of a sublime Sunday. Rain or shine, we hope to see you there.
