1968 Porsche 911: Bahama Mama
The enthusiasm is real and carries into his artwork. I met Kelly at Luftgekulht and the person in this video is what you get when you meet him face to face. The smile and the engaged conversation never stops, even when his wife is applying copious amounts of sun block…great video, great sounds. He produces art that speaks to car guys, from Porsches to Sprint cars, he captures it all. Thanks Petrolicious and Kelly!
Kelly, beautiful work! I’m not only envious of your stellar 911 but that you’ve made a good (apparently excellent!) living drawing/painting them. From the time I first discovered 911s, when this car was about 2 years old, I’ve been transfixed by their shape. I was always drawing them and challenged by capturing the elusive contours and tapers of this iconic shape. I still have a few of my better attempts somewhere. Seeing what a cool niche you’ve carved for yourself makes me wish I’d kept at it!
Great presentation!. This guy is a car nut and I love it. The ’68 911 is one of my favorites. Thanks for showing a peek at the collection also. I also collect the small stuff. I still have the boxes of car parts( hubcaps, tires, fender skirts, and car manuals from vehicles I actually owned) but so far I have not had a Porsche. 5 kids were always more important than the next car. Now that my body is starting to go, I may let go of the motorcycles and get me one! I am inspired after seeing this!
