I’ve learned something since I’ve started membership with this incredible site!!!! There are legions of Porsche 911 owners half of which are featured on here! LOL!!! Any-who… I Love the site, love the vids, love the articles an I love the work you guys put in for our benefit!
Thumbs up Petrolicious!
I have never seen somebody drive a pre-74 911 that hard! It may not be the rarest car in the room, but it is still pretty rare!
Great video (as always) and agree that a longer version and behind the scenes features would be an added bonus. Just love the series and the site: thanks guys!
Hey love the video ,off topic I loved the two Thunder Bird puppets in the back ground in the interview with the dude about the 911,THUNDER BIRDS ARE GO, r.i.p Gerry Anderson.
It’s a shame people who share such wonderful things get slated. Get a grip of yourselves. Thanks Petrolicious for making such a cracking video – as a 911 fanboy this is a really special one. Can we have a longer version and even funkier pants next time? 🙂
Great car. Dork of an owner. I just checked into that Sheraton in the background of one of those scenes. San Diego right
You’re obviously entitled to your opinion about the owner but I will remind you that the great car is in the video because the owner let it be in the video. Petrolicious videos are great because they are for the most part about the owners sharing their passion. While your might not agree with their opinions or fashion sense you should respect them for sharing them with a wider audience.
Please keep your opinions about the owner to yourself… this is not the right place for such pejorative comments…
Is it just me or is anyone else getting goose bumps when he gets up on the throttle? Hands down one of the best sounding engines. Nothing sounds like a flat 6.
Oops I’ve just noticed I can’t edit my previous post, I made a typo, should read “… made by engines with…”
Amazing video. This is truly car porn at its best. I love every vid. I do wish this one was much longer. I am a P car 964 owner and would love to see an extended version or behind the scenes of this car in particular. Again beautiful job as always. You all do amazing work. Keep them coming.
Thanks for the love Brown. Funny you should mention a behind the scenes, stay tuned for Friday!
“It’s not the prettiest car in the room, it’s not the fastest car in the room, it’s not the most expensive car in the room, it’s not the rarest car in the room…”
What the hell room is this guy talking about? Just about any room that the 2.7RS is in it’s all of those things…
haha one of those guys that likes to hear the sound of his own voice.. doesn’t really know what he’s talking about but goes on anyway to vindicate the ego.
Ps: its a little satisfying knowing dumped the clutch to be a show off, got nervous and lifted off the throttle. 😀
Well to be honest in the particular room where we filmed it was none of those things you listed.
I reckon the white car at the back of the room is certainly rarer and just about more valuable. I think it’s prettier too 🙂
Great video as always.
Really Petrolicious? I’ve been waiting for this since Friday and the video is only four minutes long? I expected at least a feature length film for what is a holy grail car to many Porsche fans. Regardless of the disappointingly short video, the quality is top notch as always and the films truely do speak to who we are as car enthusiasts. Keep it up!
Thank you. Was afraid I may be the only one. I kept on thinking, whatta nice car, whatta cock.
Love the car, hate the pants.
That is NASTY! Love the sound! True it’s not a thumping V8, but as 6’s go this is the best sounding 6. Great work. Wish it was longer.
Absolutely beautiful! That is one mean-sounding Porsche. Love it when manufacturers make a specific lightweight car for racing, e46 CSL, New Z28, it’s great. Hopefully they keep doing it.
