If only the fighting bulls after which Lamborghinis are typically named had it as easy as this right-hand-drive 1973 Espada.
It’s only been driven 3,000 miles since having its engine rebuilt in 2003. The car has a total of 63,000. To accompany that refreshed motor, the current owner added a “complete new stainless steel exhaust-set (2010), new clutch (2010), electronic ignition system (2011) and water pump (2013)”–and kept the receipts. There’s also new carpeting throughout the air-conditioned interior. And as if that weren’t enough it’s one of 320 right-hand-drive Espadas ever produced.
This garage-kept Series III four-seater has a “detailed service history [which] includes records from Carrera sport [sic] in West Sussex going back to 1989!” It comes with a letter documenting its color being changed from brown to pearl white in 1973, as well as MOT until January 2015.
