A wedge. It’s usually just an angle and a couple of planes. This particular wedge, a 1979 Lotus Esprit, is similarly styled, but comprises considerably more parts. However, many of them have been rebuilt, replaced, or refurbished.

For instance, according to the owner, this Monaco White S2 has undergone a “full respray and rebuild” and “chassis welding and treatment.” The front windshield was replaced during the painting process. In April of 2011, PNM Engineering rebuilt the four-cylinder motor, which is equipped with dual Weber carburetors that have been serviced and reconstructed.

Other hardware components, such as the engine mounts, front and rear wheel bearings, and back shocks have been replaced. Although the Speedline alloy wheels haven’t been swapped out for new ones, they have been refurbished.

In addition to “plenty of receipts” which document the above work, this Giugiaro-designed star of “shows, TV interviews, and adverts” comes with tax coverage good through the end of 2014 and MOT until June 17th of 2015.
