At Petrolicious, we love getting emails from a “far-away” lands, and in this case a talented young photographer from Slovakia reached out with a few photos of a day spent in the company of a very blue Porsche 911.
Isn’t it lovely?
A 1976 Porsche 911 Carrera with the 3.2-litre flat 6-cylinder engine, its wheels and blue paint may not be to everyone’s taste but on these moody Slovakian back roads it stands out like gem. Captured by photographer Filip Knoll, he says it’s a raw experience that is quite at home in rural Slovakia.
“You feel the road under you, you feel the car’s response, and you feel like you are part of it—it’s a great way to relax your busy mind,” Knoll writes. “County roads are the best for this car, especially during spring and fall, as there aren’t so many cars as on highways…and you can enjoy a beautiful tour across our beautiful country.”
