In summary, the city and the surrounding area teem with automotive activity. Though we don't, can't, cover all of it, the Petrolicious staff can commonly be found milling around in one of these parking lots on any given Saturday or (often times and) Sunday morning, but one of our favorite annual events is Highway Earth, and it's coming up soon on Sunday, June 24th
Our presence will be a bit more formal than aforementioned Cars & Coffee-type events, and if you come early in the morning stop by our booth for some fresh hot coffee from our line of specialty blends. Last year the turnout ranged from 2CVs to modern supercars, and this year the roster suggests a repeat of such diversity. Automobile Magazine will be there with us, Hagerty is going to have some giveaways, and though we'll have a booth I'm sure you'll spot us walking around the space to check out the cars whenever we can. The Citroën club will be arriving in force, the Alfa club will be alongside them, as will the Triumph and MG sects for the British roadster fans out there. Also, if you're a fan of American motorsport history or Shelby legends more specifically, original Shelby racing driver Allen Grant will be coming along with his personal Cobra.
Spots filled up fast again this year, and registration is closed, so if you want to show your own car there's a chance to get in after 9AM if some of the reserved spaces aren't filled, so bring some cash and come to the front gate of the Franklin Canyon location and try your luck. No worries if it's full though, as there isplenty of free spectator parking, and spectator admission to the event itself is also free. The show runs until 2PM. We hope to see you there!
