Announced by the Design Museum in London, the display features rare material provided by private collections. It offer an insight into the brand’s illustrious history, since launching its first car in 1947.

Individual sections are dedicated to the life of Enzo Ferrari. The marque’s enormous racing success, iconic car design and technology. Also celebrated is the host of famous Ferrari clientele and so a 250 GT Cabriolet. Formerly owned by factory racing driver Peter Collins. An F40 belonging to Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason and a 166 MM driven by former head of Fiat Gianni Agnelli also feature. A LaFerrari Aperta, owned by TV chef Gordon Ramsay. Also on show in recognition of the brand’s latest technology, including hybrid assistance.






It will run until April 15 and is the first exhibition of its kind to be held outside of the official Ferrari Museum in Maranello.
Sir Terence Conran, founder of the Design Museum, said, ‘I think I speak on behalf of millions of ambitious people of all ages. That we have all at some point had dreams of owning a Ferrari. The brand itself has become a worldwide symbol of design success, whether it is their road models or grand prix cars.
‘The depth of emotion goes far beyond the external beauty of their cars. What excites me so much about this exhibition is the rare opportunity to glimpse behind the scenes. And experience the dynamic between engineering, manufacturing and design, which produces Ferrari’s magic ingredient.’
