No, this isn’t a new GT-R, which in its current guise has been around since way back in 2007. ButItaldesign has given it a radical new look, different from every angle, which breathes life into this aging Godzilla. The roof has been lowered by 54mm (2.1in), the front and rear fascias get a unique piano black treatment, and a giant wing is there to keep the rear end down in the high-speed corners. The interior is only slightly different, with a more liberal use of carbon fibre, leather and alcantara than the base car.

Underneath that sharper skin is still GT-R, though the 3.8-litre twin-turbocharged V6 now makes 710hp – a 110hp jump – and 575lb ft (780Nm) of torque. A stronger six-speed sequential gearbox deals with the extra power, and the brakes and suspension have been upgraded as well.
Only 50 versions of the GT-R50 will be built, and that exclusivity comes with a price of €990,000 (around $1.08 million USD), or about five times what a ‘normal’ GT-R is worth.
