Petrolicious Autocinema at Naples Cars on 5th

This weekend, Petrolicious invites guests at Cars on Fifth to step off the street and into a quieter moment.

On Saturday, February 7, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Petrolicious presents Autocinema in collaboration with the Revs Institute, inside the Women’s Center just off Fifth Avenue. Conceived as a pause within the rhythm of the show, the space offers shade, stillness, and a chance to experience the automobile through a more reflective lens.

At the center of Autocinema is a short film teaser from an upcoming multi-part Petrolicious series dedicated to the preservation of automotive artifacts and the remarkable work taking place behind closed doors at the Revs Institute. The full series will debut later this year, exclusively on Petrolicious. Rather than celebrating spectacle, the films focus on stewardship—the careful, often invisible work of conserving vehicles, documents, and objects so they may endure well beyond our time with them.

Surrounding the film is a modest exhibition highlighting the Revs Institute's approach to vehicle restoration and artifact preservation. Tools, methods, and materials are presented not as technical instruction, but as quiet evidence of devotion: how history is stabilized, cataloged, and protected with equal parts science and reverence.

Visitors are welcome to come and go throughout the day—step inside, watch the film, take in the display, then continue on to duPont REGISTRY Village and live auctions next door before rejoining the energy of Fifth Avenue.

Copies of The Petrolicious Post, our new monthly newspaper, will be on display, with subscriptions now open.

Autocinema is not about what’s loud or fast. It’s about what lasts, and the people quietly making sure it does.
