The Saab 93 was produced from 1956 through 1959 and was the first Saab model to be exported outside of Sweden, most of these exports ending up in the United States. The car garnered a lot of attention in the motorsports world, because it was expected to be competetive as a rally car. The 93B was introduced in 1957 with a few aethestic improvements to the car. Saab marketed the 93 as an attractive, roomy, and comfortable car, and an ideal traveling car for the whole family. Saab even touted as one of the car’s amenities that is was an ideal car for the family to sleep in on a road trip rather than paying for a hotel. Saab claimed that the car was efficient, safe, and speedy—a car that could tackle hilly roads and long, open stretches with equal ease.
Based on the vintage Saab 93B poster below and inspired by the car, we’ve carefully selected a couple of items that be great companions on any trip in a Saab 93.
