The current owner stated the original owner bought this car in Brownsburg, IN. My wife’s family owned that Chevrolet dealership from 1928 thru 2009. Thanks for sharing this story; it meant a lot to my wife!
He opened by saying that there’s a good chance a vintage car is going to break down. I submit that if it’s well-maintained and driven regularly, that should not be a concern when on the open road. It especially should not be a concern in a Corvette with a bullet-proof Chevrolet drivetrain. I own a ’67 roadster that’s been in my life for 44 years, and breaking down has never been a consideration in that car.
Another cool video. The car is absolutely fantastic, and I love that it is a manual. I thought all US cars were automatic;)
Great video. Done very tastefully. Love the father and son involvement with this particular car.
1- Muscle cars defined by having backseat… I didn’t know that was the technical definition; thanks for the education
2- 4:40 … Brain: Washed… excellent… !!

To share the passion. Absolutely. To hoard it and hide it away is a sin. Really admire this gentlemans philosophy. Look at his sons face and joy it radiates when he is shown the passion, and the love. Great video.
Lovely tribute to an absolutely iconic car.
Absolutely wonderful notions on what it means to love a car and share the passion.
