I really enjoyed this video – it’s good to see younger folks interested in the classics! Making changes here and there is part of the journey and I’m sure you’ll have lots of fun with it. I also have a 1968 912 and have owned it for about 12 years. It’s one of the best purchases that I ever made. Still a blast to drive after 53 years. Best wishes with your “Old Lady” Porsche Classic! My car is now Polo Red and was originally Burgundy (paint code 6808), so am very partial to the burgundy color. The engine sounds like a sewing machine! Mit vielen gruesse von Connecticut.
It’s interesting: Owners of other exotic marques often go on and on about how *few* miles they’ve put on their cars, whereas with many (if not most) Porsche owners, a well-turned odometer ir regarded with pride. The things *are* made to be driven, after all, and Jonas certainly gets this Life is short; the road is long.
Thank you everyone for your comments. I really enjoyed to work with Petrolicious and I‘m very grateful to drive in California with my ‘old lady’ from 1968. My story is honest and a pure passion for Porsche.
Especially, in these days, it’s easy to realize how fortunate we are.
Warm regards to Stuttgart as well, I really miss the factory and the team.
Hi Jonas,
I think this car is a 4 owner. I owned it from 2009 to 2013. I recognized the dash and the dimple in the passenger rear panel. I do have some history on the car if you are interested before I sold it within the 912 Registry. Glad to see it has been well taken care of! I was a great Rally car and partcipated in the 2013 Snowball Rally as well as some autocross events locally. Glad you are enjoying it!
